Juicy turkey burgers topped with Ontario Cheddar cheese, bacon and homemade ranch dressing are truly irresistible.
Preheat grill to medium and grease grates well. In a medium bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into four 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick patties.
Grill burgers for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and cooked through. Top each patty with a slice of cheese in the last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking time.
Ranch Dressing Ingredients: Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, milk, mayonnaise, vinegar, dill, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Spread about 1 tbsp (15 mL) ranch dressing over each bottom half of buns. Sandwich burgers, bacon and lettuce in buns.
Toss any leftover ranch dressing with a green salad or as dip for veggies. Parental supervision is required to make this recipe!
