Yogurt Lid Suncatchers

Note All containers must be unlabeled and neutral in colour. No branded dairy packaging. Milk Club props (apron, mixing bowl, whisk, etc.) will be provided by the client for applicable crafts.

What You'll Need

  • 1 clean yogurt lid (unlabeled/neutral colour)
  • White craft glue (
  • P

  • A)
  • Tissue paper in assorted colours
  • String or ribbon (for hanging)

Steps

  1. Pour a thin, even layer of white craft glue into the yogurt lid.
  2. Tear tissue paper into small pieces.
  3. Press the tissue paper pieces into the glue, overlapping colours as desired to fill the lid.
  4. Let dry fully (4-6 hours or overnight). The glue will dry clear and translucent.
  5. Once fully dry, peel the glue-and-tissue disk out of the lid.
  6. Punch a small hole at the top and thread string or ribbon through for hanging.
  7. Hang in a window to display.
